The Shops at the Loom Shops at the Loom, 1087 Flushing Ave (at Knickerbocker)

Time:
Wednesdays, 2-8pm, from June to November

Prices are not listed until you begin the sign up process, but you do not have to commit/you will not be charged until you complete check-out. The website has extensive information and should be able to answer all your questions, but if you would like any opinions/suggestions regarding the share options, feel free to contact us for recommendations.

Member Agreement: Please read the member agreement before signing up for a share to make sure you understand what it means to be a part of Community Supported Agriculture and what is expected of you in order to make it happen!

Signing up for the CSA also requires a commitment to one volunteer shift at a distribution. This is actually part of the fun of belonging to the community referenced in “Community Supported Agriculture” and is a way to meet your neighbors and make new friends. If your schedule makes volunteering for a distribution shift difficult, you can have a friend or roommate cover your shift for you or we can work out other ways for you to fulfill the volunteer requirement.

If you sign up for a half share, you will pick up every other week. Before the first distribution we will send out a schedule indicating whether you pick up on an “A” week or a “B” week. We do our best to accommodate any requests to be an A or B week, but once the season starts we cannot switch your week unless you find someone with the same share as you and arrange to switch weeks with them.
